One of my very best friends, my soul sister... was married a couple weekends ago.
08.09.14
If you know Holly, you wouldn't expect anything less of what her wedding weekend was. Of course it was held in the beautiful San Diego, California.
A little mini vacation for all the attendees.
I was in full swing wedding mode for a good week. (not that I haven't already been with my own)
I will admit, it was nice to take my stressed out mind off my own and focus on hers.
A couple weekends before the big day we ran off to Reno, her home town and finished last minute detail with her momma. Not gonna lie... I was a little worried. Nothing seemed too certain. Turns out.. I had no reason to be.
The weekend was magical.
Naturally we spend a day at Coronado Island beaching and eating delicious tacos.
They were unreal. Im a real sucker for a good fish taco.
That evening followed with a bonfire on the beach
and of course the next evening was filled with finger foods and sparkling cider on a private suset cruise. Obviously, right?
The bride and all her besties. Cruisin' away.
Unfortunately, no picture were taken at the bachelorette party. Which really is a shame.
It was such a fun night. A bunch of girls drunk on Martinelli's and full of laughter.
We probably should have gone to bed a little earlier, but it was worth it. Although that 6am alarm clock came way too early.
The next morning was one of my favorite parts of the whole day. (minus the 6am part) There is something special about spending the morning of a brides most special day with her. I got holly all ready. From hair, to makeup, to shoving her out the door. She was the most stunning bride you have ever seen.
Inside and out.
Holls wore her mommas dress.
It was special, and perfect in every way.
Holly didn't have "official" bridesmaids.
Who needs titles anyway?
Not us apparently.
Coordination at its finest people.
I thought we looked rather stellar myself.
^^killin' it.
the whole day was perfect.
all the way down to the very first gas station stop as a married couple.
and the first kiss during the stop...
I mean the list only goes on.
I'll spare you though.
How about some cute nephew buns?
and....
I cried here.
I've known Chris and Holly through their entire relationship. And this moment just gave me a little kick in the tear glands apparently. Because I lost it.
totally lost it.
They are really special people.
Practically made for each other. He is so perfect for her, and she is so perfect for him.
after all...
she is HRE now.
I love these two. And I couldn't have been more grateful to be apart of their special day.
and to be the maid of honor......
cheers.
