08.28.14

also known as...
the best day of my life.

Keep in mind I only have a "sneak peak" of our actual professional photos. So here is a little collection from friends.

08.28.14
Hands down the very best day of my entire life.

I wish I could explain the way I felt. But there really are no words to even describe the feelings.
I guess I can give you a little breakdown.

10pm (night before): FINALLY done with wedding errands and I am arriving at the house where ALL of my family and my mom's side are staying. They had been there all day (my bestie Kim too) and I felt so bad I wasn't there to spend time with them. So obviously you cry over that. And you cry over your flowers. And you cry because you can't find the makeup you want. OBVIOUSLY you cry about everything because the day you have spent 6 months planning is in like 5 hours.

12am: Kim, Hayley, and Kynlee are all staying the night with me. I hadn't seen any of them in so long that I just couldn't go to sleep without catching up.

2:30am: finally falling asleep. I'm an idiot, I'm aware.

4:30am: My alarm goes off and for the first time in my life I jump out of bed and don't press snooze. I mean, I'm still a zombie... but I'm up. And that is a feat right there.

best part was Hayley, Kynlee, and Kimmy got up with me and helped me get all ready. And of course I wore my little silky white "bride" robe.

6:30am: Maddy and I leave to pick up flowers...

get stuck in traffic...

7:30am: Get there and cry because my flowers were everything I didn't ask for. Luckily the fixed them a little and they photographed pretty well.

9:00am: FINALLY arrive at the photo spot.

And I got to see Brady for the first time that day.

^^ and this first look pic kills me.

10:30am: All done with pics and we are stoked that we have a little extra time to grab some food before we have to be at the temple at 11:30

Not. We got stuck in traffic and we were half an hour away so we actually went through the McDonalds drive through like 5 min before we were supposed to be there.

Gross, I know.

Best Part? I sat on a packet of Ranch and it got all over my dress. Luckily, it wasn't my wedding dress and I only had to wear that one for like 15 min.

12:30pm: A temple worked led Brady and I into the Celestial room to sit for 1/2 an hour. I had a pit in my stomach I was so nervous. I wish I could say I was so excited at that point. But that would be a lie. I was just nervous.

Naturally, my nerves made Brady nervous.

1:00pm: Every nerve went away and every emotion came rushing in as I walked hand and hand into the Sealing Room with Brady. Seeing so many loved ones crammed into one room brought a rush of tears I could have never been prepared for.

THAT right there, was the best part of the entire day.

2:30pm: Brady and I left the temple as husband and wife while all of our friends and family cheered.

annnnnd lots of photo taking happened.

until it was about 4:30 and Brady and I were starving and I was dying to take off that dress.

So we ran home, enjoyed some delicious sandwiches and chips with my cute cousins and were off to the reception to help set up.

7:00pm: Show time!
Hands down the most beautiful reception ever. Thanks to the amazing Lynette.

If I could change one thing about that party... I would have made it longer. I wasn't ready to leave. I was so touched by all the love and support of our friends and family.

How about this super amazing photo backdrop my little sissy dedicated 2 day to.
She is a rockstar.

Like I said people.

Best day of my life.

I love being his Mrs. Perdue.
