Brady got an interview for dental school in Arizona (AT Still in Mesa) this last weekend. So obviously I had to go and show him around my old stompin' grounds! DISCLAIMER: I literally didn't tell anyone because we were there for like 24 hours!! Kinda funny I'm even writing a disclaimer because no one knows I have a blog. Ha!
Ladies and Gentlemen... Welcome to Gilbert, AZ! This is "Downtown" and I think it is just adorable, and it definitely brings back some pretty fun memories.
I took Brady to Oregano's. His favorite food in this world is pizza. Soooo, this one was a winner. (The last time I came here was after graduation with the Martinsen Family!)
This was sorta the highlight of our trip.... considering we were hardly there. But, hey... everyone likes pizza!
And this yummy goodness. Aka: Pizookie. No, this is not on our "New Year" diet, but it's vacation so it's allowed right?
Go Suns!
This was my first time to the new Gilbert temple. It is absolutely gorgeous and the location is amazing. It brings me so much joy knowing thousands of people drive right past it every single day. How can you see something so beautiful and not wonder what it is all about? You can't. Plain and simple.
We drove through Kingman, AZ. Brady served part of his mission there and so he took me on a little tour. It was so fun to see the little houses he lived in and to hear some old stories. I sure love this boy and I am super duper grateful to have him.
Thanks for being such a good sport and letting me take so many pictures of you :)
This sunset was the perfect goodbye from AZ. I don't know the next time I will see you...(who knows, maybe I'll end up there for the next 4 years)... but Arizona will always hold a special place in my heart. To me Arizona means my childhood, high school, best friends, horrifying yet hilarious boyfriend stories, dancing, and it means family.
I love you Arizona!

First of all, I have this guilty pleasure of being one of the only people that knows you have a blog:) secondly, I don't know why you don't make it more public... People would love to read! Your pictures look AWESOME and I'm so glad you guys had a fun quick trip. Love you!
